MAIN STAGE

The Main Stage is the centre of the Star Sanctum universe. Each Entry Pass holder has their own reserved seat in the auditorium. The tiered seating gives every fan a clear, unobstructed view of everything that’s happening on stage – and there’ll be a whole lot of happening.

Star Guests will take to the stage at different times throughout each day. They’ll go solo, join co-stars and appear on panels. They will speak to the fans, chat to each other and answer questions.

The on-stage host, BAFTA award-winning writer and professional stand-up, Bennett Arron, will field questions from the audience, keep the day flowing and keep the peace.

Bennett, described by The Guardian newspaper as “The Welsh Seinfeld”, is a massive fan of all things sci-fi and fantasy. Please don’t get him started on his comic-book collection.

Everyone seated in the Main Stage will be kept informed when signings and photograph sessions are about to start. They will be called in blocks of seat numbers so there will be very little waiting around. When Star Guests are off in smaller sessions, The Main Stage will screen all kinds of clips and videos. Expect the unexpected is all we can say about that for now.

Around the venue, announcements will be made before each Star Guest takes to the stage, giving everyone time to get back to their own reserved seat. Close-up video of the Stars on stage will stream live to a screen above the Main Stage and to screens around the venue. Nobody need miss a single magic moment.

For a lot of fans, The Main Stage is what it’s all about. You will be entertained, amused and amazed by insider news, views and anecdotes and probably be treated to the odd (or plain weird) party-piece.
